The load carrying capacity of an Ultralintel increases significantly when the composite beam action from the brickwork over is taken into account. This composite strength rises as the number of brick courses above increases. Please note that the arching of the brickwork above the lintel has been assumed in the spans indicated in the load span table provided. For general lintel design, use the Safe Working Load tables. For more complex designs, please contact your engineer and/or utilise the Ultralintel designer tool.
